POWERFUL AT PETERSBURG!

The BSS/SAS superstars made an impression on opponents Saturday at the Petersburg Invitational, with the girls' team snagging first place and the boys placing fourth overall. Scoring was as follows: BOYS: Petersburg 51, Illini Central 65, Rochester 84, BSS/SAS 131, Carlinville 134, Liberty 187, CTK 193, Auburn 193, Little Flower/Cathedral 246, AC Central 250 GIRLS: BSS/SAS 34, Petersburg 65, Auburn 96, Athens 143, Illini Central 159, Rochester 162, CTK 169, Carrolton 184, Little Flower/Cathedral 191.

The TOP 15 RUNNERS to cross the finish line were awarded medals, and we are proud to say that ALL of our TOP 7 female finishers got medals. WOW girls!!! Those wearing hardware are distance standouts JESSICA M. (13:34), EMILY D. (13:56), MACKENZIE W. (14:41), KAYLA K. (14:57), MADDIE A. (15:01), MARIA L. (15:02), and KRISTIN G. (15:07). Amazing job ladies! Others not far behind with outstanding runs were KELLY K. (16:12), KASI K. (15:56), and BRIGID C. (16:58). Great job to all of our girls! ALSO, a big congratulations to SIERRA G. (18:53) who ran the Bradley Course the previous night and looked strong. SIERRA's name was omitted from the results published from the Bradley Open, but she sure deserves recognition for her wonderful effort!

For our gentlemen, we had tried & true runner ERIC D. (13:36) bringing hardware home. Other teammates crossing the line early in the race were superstars JOEY S. (14:20), JOSH M. (14:24), KIEL P. (14:58), NATHANIEL L. (15:22), JOEY S. (15:33), and DAN D. (16:00). A few others with awesome runs were up and coming runners SETH H. (16:00), KYLE J. (16:27), JOE L. (16:32), and BEN D. (16:33). Super job to these and all of our guys!
