Welcome to Second Grade Math Flash Cards

| The following program
provides random addition and subtraction problems up to the number 20. You have 30 seconds
to answer as many problems as you can. To start the program, you click on the first
problem (in the maroon box), type in your answer and press Enter. You will automatically
be graded and your correct and incorrect answers will be tallied below. The program will
then move on to the next problem. If you make a mistake you can backspace over the number.
But after you press the Enter key you move to the next problem. If you want to test your
math skills again just click on your browser's refresh or reload key and then click on the
problem. Have fun and see how many problems you can answer! (Please note that this program may not work in the Netscape Navigator
browser.)
Parents Note: This random
operations (addition or subtraction) generator is a Java applet and requires the use of a
browser that can handle same. The Second Grade Math Flash Cards appear automatically after
the program has been started. To get the full site effect, please make sure your speakers
are turned on for this page. Unscientific and random Second Grader testing of this page
suggests that use of the numeric keypad, found on most computer keyboards, helps move the
program and the "fun" along. |
