Areas of play are:
Kindergarten will play on the brown equipment across from
the library.
Preschool outside equipment is not to be used during lunch time.
Primary grades (1st & 2nd
) will use the rainbow equipment in back of the school
and the basketball area on a rotating basis.
Grade 2 will be in the basketball area on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday.
Grade 1 will be in the basketball area on Tuesday and
Thursday. Grades
3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 will rotate the use of the field area,
church lot and basketball areas.
(A rotating schedule for each day is posted in the
cafeteria)

Students
WILL NOT
switch areas of play. Students are to remain in the assigned
areas for the day.

Students playing
on the brown and rainbow equipment
WILL NOT
walk or run up the slides, play tag within the woodchip
area, jump from the higher parts of the equipment, or lift
the red discs from their bases (rainbow equipment).
Students
ARE TO STAY OUT of all the tree areas and the area
behind the garage.
Students in grades K-8
WILL NOT
play on the Preschool equipment.

Students
WILL NOT
play on the hill next to
Amos Street,
on the tennis courts (unless assigned to do so) or around
the trees along the tennis courts.
Students on the blacktop should stay away from the
area near the church entrances.

Students
WILL NOT
take any food or drinks outside during recess.

Students
WILL NOT
go back into school without permission.
Students should use the restroom before going out to
recess.

Students
WILL NOT
play rough during recess (i.e. tackling, pushing, shoving,
or fighting).
Inappropriate language or hand gestures will not be
tolerated.

Students
ARE
responsible for all playground equipment.
Equipment is to be used properly.
Misuse of equipment is not permitted.
If a student takes equipment out of the class bag,
that student is responsible for putting it back.

Students
ARE NOT to
go out into the street after the balls.

Students
are to sTay out
of puddles and out of the snow.

Students
ARE to
stop playing with balls and other equipment when a whistle
blows or the bell rings.
-
Students
ARE to
line up quickly and orderly when the bell rings for the end
of recess.
Equipment should be
put away in the class bags.
Kindergarten will line up by the east wing doors.
Grades 1 & 2 will line up by the west wing doors.
Grades 3, 4, 6 & 7 will line up by the gym doors.
Grades 5 & 8 will line up outside the front office
doors to meet their teachers.

ARE to
show respect for others and follow instructions given by the
playground supervisors.
Bullying of others will not be tolerated.
