CAREGIVING MINISTRY

Volunteers needed to reach out to the elderly who are unable to drive to Mass, the store, or doctor's office.  Volunteers may run errands, help with light chores, or just visit a homebound person.  This ministry participates with the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program.  The time that you are willing to share depends upon your availability.

PARISH HEALTH VISITOR

Visits the nursing homes, hospitals, individual homes, and retirement homes of our elderly parishioners.

FUNERAL LUNCHEONS

Volunteers prepare food or serve at luncheons after funerals for parishioners upon request.

SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY

Provides charitable outreach to people within the parish boundaries.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

An ecumenical ministry that provides simple, affordable housing to families in need. Volunteers participate through Catholic Partnership House being planned with other parishes in Sangamon County.
