Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The usual way by which an unbaptized person (all those seven years of age and above) becomes a full, participating member of the Catholic Church is through a faith formation process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and the reception of the sacraments of initiation at Easter.
Persons who have been baptized in another Christian church and who wish to become a member of the Catholic Church are also encouraged to participate in the RCIA before receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. We are now planning for those who want to inquire about the process or simply find out what RCIA is all about.
If you know of someone interested, please contact Bill Ryan, RCIA Coordinator, at 793-2549 or Fr. Bob at 793-1330. Our RCIA sessions will begin in September.
