5. The completed form must be brought to the committee meeting the week before the pack meeting. They can be e-mailed to the Cubmaster any time before the committee meeting.
6. Notify the Cubmaster of any rank advancement at the committee meeting. The rank advancement must still be listed on the advancement report. All rank advancement will be with a ceremony. One week is required in order to prepare the ceremony.
7. Each den leader must contact the advancement coordinator before each pack meeting. If your den has no badges, the coordinator should be so advised.

Advancement Coordinator Instructions
1. Compile the advancement reports from all the den leaders into one report.
2. The report should be taken to the scout office. The scout office needs one copy to keep, sort by scout. It will help to sort a second copy of the report by badges. This will allow you to pick all of the same badges at one time.
3. A card needs to be obtained for each badge. The cards have no associated cost.
4. Pay cash for the awards. The scout office will give you a pink copy of a receipt for the badges. This pink copy needs to be given to the treasurer at the next pack meeting. The pack will write you a check.
5. Make another copy of the report in scout order. Use this report to sort out the cards and badges. Each card needs to have the name of the scout and the badge(s) he is getting written on it. If the badges are pin, pin them on the card. Rank patches and belt loops can be kept separate and sorted the night of the pack meeting.
6. The den leaders should contact you even if they have no awards. You should contact the leaders who have not contacted you.
7. E-mail a copy of the report to the Cubmaster. This is needed to determine how much time at the pack meeting it will take to hand out the badges.
